The terms, in plain English.
This page covers what you are buying, what you can do with it, and what I am and am not responsible for. Read alongside the privacy page and the refund rules.
The current price is displayed on the relevant checkout before payment. Your receipt records the amount paid. The independent course uses TagMango; the live cohort uses Razorpay.
For an existing purchase, the price and terms agreed when you paid continue to apply. This update does not reduce those commitments.
Who you are dealing with
This site and everything sold on it is run by Sayantan Nandi, an individual based in India. Payments for the kits and the cohort are processed by Razorpay, and for the self-paced course by TagMango. Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST where it applies; the receipt shows the split.
What you get
The kits are digital files for your own use. The Step Up to Senior Leadership independent course provides twelve lessons across six weeks on TagMango for as long as the course exists there, which I intend to be years, not months. The Step Up to Senior Leadership live cohort includes six live sessions across six weeks on the dates shown on its page, plus the course materials and recordings of the sessions.
What you can do with it
Use it in your own career, share it with your own team if you lead one, and quote from it with a mention of where it came from. What you cannot do is resell it, upload it to a shared drive for a company or a community, or reproduce it in your own paid product. The workbooks carry a licence line for a reason.
What it is not
It is education, drawn from my own experience and reading. It is not a promise of a promotion, a raise or any outcome, and it is not personalised advice. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice, and I am not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Decisions you make after reading or attending are yours.
The cohort
Sessions are recorded for the group. By joining you agree to be recorded, and you agree not to share recordings or other participants' situations outside the group. What is said in the room stays there, on both sides. I may use a situation from a session in later writing, but only unrecognisably and only after asking.
Access and changes
I may update the course and the kits over time; you get the updates. If a platform I use shuts down or changes its terms, I will move the material and tell you where. If something you paid for becomes unavailable and I cannot replace it, you get a refund for the part you lost.
Liability
To the extent Indian law allows, my liability for anything arising from this site or its products is limited to the amount you paid me for the product concerned.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we disagree about something, the first step is an email and a conversation, and I would expect that to settle it. Failing that, the courts at Kolkata have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If I change them, the date below changes and anything that affects an existing purchase does not apply to it retrospectively.
