December 2026 live cohort / Enrollment open

The Step Up to Senior Leadership:
Live Cohort

Practice the skills for senior and global leadership.
Get feedback on how you apply them.

For managers in GCCs, IT services and multinational companies who want responsibility for larger portfolios and work across teams or countries. The cohort pairs twelve lessons with six live sessions to develop business judgment, communication, influence and delegation.

Bring the situations where your familiar response no longer helps: a request you cannot absorb, a disagreement you keep avoiding or work that still waits for your approval. Use the course to prepare a response, then examine your reasoning through discussion and feedback.

A day with
a larger portfolio.

By lunchtime, a regional customer needs a decision, another team has challenged your priorities and your own team is waiting for direction.

Your contribution increasingly comes from how you frame the choices, communicate the consequences and enable other people to act.

A manager discusses operational results with a finance director on a video call.
9:00 AM / A regional review

“What did this change for our customers?”

The finance director needs to understand what your team’s work changed. You explain the operational result, its business significance and the evidence behind it.

Skills to practiceOutcome Translation and Speak Business

A manager and colleague compare two requests against the team’s available capacity.
10:30 AM / Two urgent requests

“We can bring this forward if we move the other deadline.”

Both deadlines cannot fit within available capacity. You recommend what should take priority and make the cost of that choice explicit.

Skills to practiceRecommend Under Ambiguity and Deliberate Elimination

A manager briefs his director using a concise launch update.
12:00 PM / A launch update

“This is the risk. This is the decision we need.”

Your director needs to know whether the date is at risk. You lead with the issue, identify the decision needed and agree when the remaining uncertainty will be resolved.

Skills to practiceLegibility and Reduce Your Boss’s Uncertainty

A manager discusses a launch proposal with colleagues in other countries.
2:00 PM / A cross-country disagreement

“Help me understand what this would change for your team.”

Another region challenges your proposal. You examine its constraints, explain your reasoning and establish what evidence would change your view.

Skills to practiceLateral Influence and Disagree Without Damage

A team lead checks source documents beside an AI-assisted comparison while his manager coaches.
3:30 PM / Work moves through others

“You own the recommendation. Let’s agree the boundaries and checks.”

A team member owns the recommendation. AI helps prepare a comparison. You establish decision boundaries and the checks required before anyone uses the output.

Skills to practiceDelegate to People and Delegate to AI

A manager compares project timelines to investigate recurring delays.
5:00 PM / A recurring problem

“We’ve seen this delay before. What is causing it?”

Similar delays have appeared across projects. You investigate the common cause and record what your response demonstrates about the responsibility you can handle.

Skills to practiceConnect the Dots and The Readiness Conversation

Fictional scenes illustrating a day in a senior role.

In the cohort, you bring your own version of these situations into the exercises. Live discussion and feedback help you examine your reasoning and refine your response.

Starts 5 December 2026

Six weeks to practice
a different way of working.

Choose the cohort if you want a fixed weekly commitment and feedback on your application. You might bring a recommendation for a global stakeholder, a capacity trade-off or a responsibility you need to delegate. You will have a concrete attempt to discuss, rather than a general intention to become more strategic.

The cohort follows the six-week curriculum, with two lessons and one live session each week. Sessions run from 5 December 2026 to 9 January 2027.

December cohort schedule

First session
Saturday, 5 December 2026
Live sessions
Every Saturday at 11 AM IST for six weeks
Session length
90 minutes
Course material
Twelve lessons with weekly study guides and practice books

Calendar invitations and course access follow the registration instructions. Already registered? View your next steps.

Use the material
between sessions.

You can understand an idea and still return to an old habit under pressure. The weekly rhythm gives you time to prepare a response, examine it and try again.

Prepare an attempt.

Read the relevant material and apply it to a real situation. Identify what you know and where your reasoning still depends on an assumption.

Discuss the choices.

Examine why a recommendation might work for your team but create a problem for another function or region. Practice explaining the trade-off and considering an alternative.

Submit your application.

Bring the week’s work into a focused submission. Feedback considers the reasoning and the evidence behind your proposed action.

Revise and review.

Use the response to revise your attempt. If you apply it at work, bring what happened into the next discussion.

Feedback on
the work you bring.

For example, a recommendation can sound confident while leaving the capacity problem unresolved. Feedback examines whether the evidence supports your proposal, who carries the consequences and what the other person is being asked to decide.

A focused submission

Prepare approximately one page or its equivalent. Use the feedback and reference examples to revise your reasoning independently.

Feedback focuses on the criteria relevant to the exercise, such as the evidence supporting a recommendation or the authority in a delegation.

The support included

The cohort adds live discussion and review of your application. It does not include unlimited document editing, ongoing private coaching or an additional individual review of every revision.

If flexible study and worked answers are enough for your needs, the independent course covers the same curriculum.

From outcomes to
a readiness conversation.

The twelve lessons cover the same sequence as the independent course. Each course week has a live session to help you apply its two lessons to your work.
